World War I: Something you did not know
I've been looking for different inventions invented in the First World War, and that most impressed me was the tea bags. I did not know that tea bags were invented in the First World War, I thought it was an invention of the Japanese for thousands of years ago. Tea bags was an invention of the Americans but German just copied the idea to sell ir in the war and make some money. It was an American tea merchant who, in 1908, started sending tea in small bags to his customers. They were design by accident, surely someone accidentally dropped a bag in the water, taste it and says: "what a great idea!". But a German company, Teekanne, did copy the idea in the war, and developed it, supplying troops with tea in similar cotton bags. They called them "tea bombs". There were not invented to solve any problem in the war, but today its a very useful think.

I thing that this blog is the most interesting of all the class because it contains low information but very clear, the tea bags I read that yesterday but i didn’t see very relevant but after Reading the pos of Andreu I have realised that is a very interesting and Smart invention that we use in our daily life. Other thing that I like about the post is that he named people and dates so we can structurate the infromatio very good, also the way that Andreu have expressed himself is very good and also the design, that is low but very clear and very well structurated
ResponderEliminarI think that this blog is really good because I explains something new and interesting. I didn't know that tea bags where invented during war. This is something I will remember whenever I drink a cup of tea, so it makes it fun. It is quite short so its also easy to read. My conclusion is that I really like this blog because it talks about a fun fact.
ResponderEliminarVery interesting article, Andreu. I did not know either that tea bags were invented during World War One. I thought they were invented by the British many years ago. Articles like this show you that you never know what you are going to learn today. This article is not very important for the understanding of the historical period but it is never bad to know stuff like this. You know what the typical Spanish saying says: "saber es poder" knowing is having power. I hope to read more interesting historical facts in this blog soon!
